The Emirates Villages Run Series
The Emirates Villages Run Series is the UAE’s first nationwide running challenge, bringing the excitement of a race series to every corner of the country. From October to December 2025, each weekend delivers a new course — from village paths and coastal tracks to desert trails and mountain roads.
Participants of all levels are welcome: families stepping onto the start line together, youth chasing personal bests, and seasoned athletes aiming for the podium. Each host village offers its own atmosphere, blending heritage, local culture, and the energy of an entire community cheering you on.

The series is open to everyone — families, youth, adults, and experienced athletes. With three distances (1.5K, 5K, 10K), there’s a race for every age and fitness level.
Registration is online through the official Emirates Villages Run Series website. Each participant must complete the registration form, pay the AED 50 entry fee, and collect their race bib before the event.
- 1.5K Family Run (untimed, community-focused)
- 5K Community Run (timed, for recreational and club runners)
- 10K Competitive Run (timed, for experienced athletes with age-group rankings)
Age groups vary by distance. For the 10K, categories range from 16–18 years up to 60+. For the 5K, they start at under-12 and go up to 60+. The 1.5K Family Run includes categories from 0–6 years through to 60+.
Every finisher earns a medal unique to that emirate. Complete all seven races and the medals connect to form the Emirates Villages Run Series legacy puzzle — a one-of-a-kind collectible that represents unity and achievement.
Race results will be published within 24–48 hours on the official Emirates Villages Run Series website under the “Winners” page. Results will include age group rankings, overall standings, and series leaderboards.
Yes. A total of AED 500,000 in prizes will be distributed across races and series winners. Prizes are awarded for podium finishes in the 10K, 5K, and 1.5K categories, as well as overall series champions and special team challenges
